On Saturday 27 October 2018, BBI (Basic Business Initiative) the UK is hosting their 15th annual EMA Awards gala night. I have been fortunate enough to be nominated for the following awards:

  • Honorary Award (Discretionary)
  • Entrepreneur of the Year

  • Professional Recognition

Enterprise Minds Awards 2018

The annual Enterprise Minds Awards (EMA) has become a much-anticipated event within the minority ethnic business and social calendar. There will be professional networking opportunities, social celebration and community recognition.

The swanky gala will take place from 7 pm until late. The reception is going to be held in the banqueting suite of the prestigious Hilton London Hotel in Tower Bridge.

Celebrating Diversity

You can expect to see a plethora of business exhibitions, award presentations, a fashion show; best dressed and dance guests’ participatory competition, live entertainment, delicious ethnic cuisine and musical performances to round off the night. Tickets can be purchased here.

Furthermore, they have developed significant level of expertise and experience in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) development and support ranging from advice, information, guidance, mentoring, training and capacity building since inception in 2001 (BBI – Who We Are, 2018).

Lifetime Achievement Award

EMA is an important night for me as I will be looking to add another accolade and qualification to my CV alongside my Lifetime Achievement Award; which was presented to me in June earlier this year. You can read about the event here.
